when he finally does pull back, it's with a smile, albeit not the same vibrant, excited smile prompto would have seen moments before. while it's no less genuine than before, the expression looks tired now, like much of that energy has been sapped right out of him... kind of like those smiles kazu often wore after trials or executions in the prism, while single-mindedly focusing on making sure everyone else was okay before bothering with himself. ]
Sorry, I know we were supposed to have that big tour of Veludo Way and all, but - can we just find somewhere quiet for a while? Just the two of us. [ ... ] A lot happened.
