It's a pretty nice resort and restaurant off the beach south of here. It's pretty great and the staff there is nice.

There's been more daemons popping up lately and uh one of the six Astrals flooded the city on the continent across the water.

[ sometimes things get fucked up ] Even before then, there were issues with the Empire running around.

Whoa, that's intense! No wonder they aren't traveling! [ he's not entirely sure what an astral is, but holy cow?! ] Why would it do something like that?

Some of the Astrals wanted Noct to prove he's worthy by trying to fight him. The Tide Goddess was sleeping smack dab in the middle of the city pretty much. It was a beautiful place surrounded by water. So when she woke up, she was pretty cranky, ready to destroy everything, and throwing streams of water every where.

From what I get of the Astrals they don't really care about people.

Yikes! I thought part of why gods are gods is to help the people, not wreck everything!

They're the more... help themselves kind. The first one we met wasn't like that at least, but that's just one out of three so far.

I guess because it's kind of become the norm? It's crazy thinking about it looking back at it and all, but when you get used to it, it doesn't really hit as being as a lot. [ especially compared to some other events that have happened ]

There's a total of six of them. I don't really know the lore for them. That's kind of Noct's and Iggy's area of expertise. [ he's just a pleb who was raised normalish ]

Besides cars or mass transit? Not really! There was that one adventure we had in the prism, I guess, but Kumopi and I woke up on the horses, and we didn't even ride them for long. I don't think I'd count it.

We can do a bit of a practice before hitting the road then. [ how sore is kazu going to be after this ] Whenever you're good to put the baby down. [ even if he's enjoying petting birb and occasionally reaching to touch boyfriend like this ]

and he's not in any rush, but prompom seems preeeeetty hype about these chocobos, so he'll just gently set down the baby. be free, little guy. ]

Not really. They are pretty newb friendly. The only thing hard is getting used to the soreness that comes from riding them.

Let's rent a couple and head to the track. If you want, an attendant can add some color to them. They have these bird friendly dyes just for them.

You'll be right. Nothing beats them all natural. Their yellow color is great just the way it is.
